Use Clean Energy Tax Credits Before They Disappear

Federal tax credits that help Nevadans save on home upgrades, electric vehicles, and solar panels are being cut short. That means Nevada families could lose out on much-needed relief.

Congress recently passed the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” which eliminates popular clean energy tax credits years earlier than initially planned.

These tax credits were designed to help households lower energy bills by taking advantage of energy-efficient technologies. Now, new legislation has sped up the expiration date, cutting off support for families at a time when utility costs are rising and inflation is squeezing budgets.

But the good news is: There is still time to use many of these tax credits before they expire.

See the updated deadlines below to know exactly how long you have to take action. And beyond federal credits, there are still state, local, and utility-level programs that can help you make clean, cost-saving upgrades to your home.
